Review Realme 7i

5

Getting a new smartphone can be a challenge, and when you’re not sure which phone to get, you can use the internet to help you narrow down your choices. Here are three things to keep in mind when searching for a new smartphone: price, battery life, and display. These three factors will help you choose the right device.

Display

Having tested the Realme 7i, I’ve got to say that the display isn’t the best thing about the phone. The 720p panel does the job well enough, but it’s not really the most impressive thing about the phone.

As for the camera, it’s okay. In good lighting conditions, the pictures are decent, but they don’t have the best detail or dynamic range. They’re acceptable for occasional social media use, but aren’t all that impressive.

The Realme 7i has a 6.5-inch display that’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The IPS LCD panel offers a 90Hz refresh rate, making transitions smoother.

The Realme 7i comes in a variety of colour options, including Arctic Blue and Polar Blue. It’s also available in Glory Silver.

Camera

Considering its price, Realme 7i’s camera has a good set of features. But it has some shortcomings.

The primary camera has a 64-megapixel sensor. It takes good portraits, but not as detailed as some other phones in this price range. The camera also produces warmer and more saturated photos.

Realme 7’s camera app also offers a Night Mode, which significantly improves the exposure of photos taken in low light. It is also good at taking sharp pictures of objects. However, the camera’s autofocus can’t seem to find the right focus in low light.

Realme 7’s camera app has a few video options. It is also able to capture slow-motion and time-lapse. The UI is very simple to use.

Battery life

Despite its price tag, Realme 7i is a battery powerhouse. It has a 5,000mAh battery, making it capable of achieving a full day of use without charging. Considering the price tag, it’s not surprising that the company has managed to pack in a battery that lasts longer than most Low Tier Smartphones.

Despite its great battery life, there are some flaws. First of all, the device does not support 30W fast charging. It takes around 3 hours and 7 minutes to charge it to 100%.

Second, the screen is laggy, meaning it takes a long time to open apps and perform animations. Third, the device is a bit heavy.

Launch of applications

Considering the competition in the budget smartphone segment, Realme has made a mark in India. The company has launched several products in India including Realme C12 and Realme S7. It has also entered the mobile accessories business. Realme also plans to expand to 150 cities in India by year’s end.

Realme 7i is the latest in a series of budget Android smartphones from the company. It features a 6.5 inch display with an impressive 90Hz ultra smooth display. It also has a quad-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. It also boasts of a 2 + 1 slot for dual SIM cards.

Battery capacity

Despite being a budget smartphone, Realme 7i offers long battery life and decent performance. This phone is built with a powerful 5000mAh Li-Ion battery. Moreover, it has an 18W fast charger. The battery lasts up to two days without a power outlet. The battery can be charged in just three hours and seven minutes, thanks to the fast charging technology.

Realme 7i runs on Android 10 and features an Octa-core CPU. It also supports 64 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It is powered by Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 (11nm) chipset. It has an Adreno 610 GPU. This processor also runs on 4GB of RAM.

Price

Among the many phones available in the market, the Realme 7i is one of the best options for people who have a specific budget. It comes with excellent performance and a great battery backup. However, it does not come with HD output. It is also not as vibrant as competitors’ display.

Realme 7i is available in two variants – one with a 6.5-inch display and another with a Full HD+ display. The first one is available for Rs 11,999 on popular e-commerce sites, while the latter is available for Rs 15,999. It also comes in a 64GB storage variant, priced at Rs 11,999.
